What does the scanner do?

The eye and reaction scanner detects the smallest eye movements and reactions in the user and shows what they notice and what causes confusion in design.

What do I gain from user testing?

  • Better user experience
  • Better conversion rate
  • Fewer service calls
  • Improved accessibility for all
  • Prioritized content achieves success
  • Increased likelihood of repeat transactions

What is tested?

Eyes

Who is the user watching? What catches his eye? What information does he not take
after?

HEARTBEAT

Does the user expect the information he sees? How much interest does the subject evoke?

ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE

Electrical resistance in the skin provides indications of uncertainty and stress.

How do the user tests take place?

We have designed and equipped a dedicated space dedicated to conducting user testing. Users go through specific tasks we call "user stories."

The space contains:

  • Eye scanners for computers and smart devices
  • Cardiac arrhythmimeter
  • Electrophoresis dynamometer
  • No distractions and comfortable facilities
  • Experience Specialist

How much does this kind of analysis cost?

Jökulá offers three levels of service for the needs of different projects and companies. Only one user history can be tested with two experts from Jökulá up to five user stories with five users.

Primary analysis

160.000 ISK

How are the tests conducted?

  • User history tested : 1
  • Number of devices tested: 1
  • Number of users: 2*
  • User group analysis
  • Jökulá provides users

How does the probe work?

Generally when it comes to studies with eye scanners, the rule of thumb is that 5 users demonstrate 85% of design flaws.  But similarly, certain parts of the design need to be tested very efficiently to get meaningful results. It is best to try a small number of items in each test, with the aim of answering certain questions.
