Advania wanted to make it easier for event managers to calculate their event's carbon emissions. Advania's solution, Velkomin, was used to create an intricate but powerful calculator that utilizes a massive database and algprythms to calculate the carbon footprint of events.
One of the main goals was for the calculator to be easy and fun to use. For instance the user can try it out and check how important it is to offer meat dishes or vegetarian dishes.
The results then show both the total carbon emissions, what causes the main emissions and how they can be reduced. The results are also placed in a graphical and interesting context.
