Frystihúsið is an ice cream shop in Akranes that opened early in 2021. It offers a variety of ice cream and coffee drinks. The ice cream shop wants to create a good atmosphere and emphasize the joy that most ice cream lovers experience when they go for that most Icelandic of traditions, the Ísbíltúr or the ice cream run.
The look of Frystihúsið consists of playful colors, photos of ice cream that tickle the taste buds, dancing text graphics and lively shapes and lines that resemble delicious ice cream. The objective was to create a brand that raised the bar and increased expectations for all.
