Elko is the largest electronic store in Iceland and their web store was in need of an overhaul. The aim was to maximize the potential value of each user through effective user experience (UX) and user interface (UI).

This was achieved through multi-pronged user journeys developed around key demographics and use cases.

Elko wanted a website that was clear and graphical that made comparison and search easy.

The first step was to create the design foundations of the web store in accordance with the brand.

Light colors, fonts and textures affect the personality of the web store and so alter the UX.

The flow of information and clear sensory power guides the user wordlessly.

The design ensures that a sea of information does not disturb the eye. The lyrics are the voice of the brand and Elko wants to sound friendly, helpful and fun. The products are given priority through imagery that highlights their characteristics.
